WHAT IS MOXI?
MOXI is a non-ablative, fractionated laser technology that helps enhance skin’s appearance mostly by correcting uneven skin tone. Non-ablative lasers work by generating gentle heat and microwounds in the skin to stimulate the production of new collagen and contract existing tissues.
Fractionated lasers affect only a fraction of the skin via tiny channels that reach deep into the skin. WHAT HAPPENS DURING MOXI TREATMENT?
MOXI treatment is quick and easy with the help of our experienced laser technicians. During treatment, the specialized handpiece generates tiny zones of micro-coagulation in the skin, prompting your body to generate new collagen and healthy skin cells to repair the damaged areas. As your skin regenerates, you’ll see noticeable improvement in your skin’s tone, texture, and clarity. Your treatment session can be performed in about 30 minutes, and you can return to your normal schedule directly after.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
After your treatment session, it’s normal to have minor redness and sensitivity, similar to a sunburn. You may notice tiny textured dots on your skin where the laser energy was applied, but these will slough off within a few days. The result will be smoother, brighter skin within a few weeks. Although many patients achieve excellent results with a single treatment, you can undergo a package of regular treatments (about 3-4) to fully address your concerns or to maintain your transformative results.
