How Does HALO Work?
Ablative wavelengths disrupt and exfoliate skin cells while non-ablative wavelengths do not – instead, they generate gentle heat to promote collagen growth. Ablative wavelengths tend to come with more substantial downtime whereas non-ablative lasers tend to come with very minimal downtime – by combining both types, HALO can provide all the benefits of ablative wavelengths with the downtime of non-ablative wavelengths.
