When performed by a knowledgeable double-board-certified facial plastic surgeon, rhinoplasty can also correct breathing problems and alleviate other problems with the nasal passages.

Recovery & Results
Rhinoplasty requires 2-3 weeks of recovery with an additional few weeks or restrictions on your activities. The nose is one of the most vascular areas of the face, meaning following aftercare instructions and avoiding swelling are key to getting good results. Most importantly, keep your head elevated while sleeping and avoid blowing your nose, which can exacerbate bleeding.
Within a few months, you’ll begin to see your results, but it can take up to a year for all residual swelling to subside with rhinoplasty. Throughout, Dr. Gilpin and our team will be ready to support you on your cosmetic journey and ensure you love your rhinoplasty results.
