Our Updated Patient Health & Safety Precautions

Our Covid-19 Safety Protocols
We’re excited to reopen, but as always, your health and safety are our top priorities. To ensure the safety of our patients and staff we are taking additional measures in addition to our standard routines, following recommendations provided by the CDC.
Safety Procedures for our Staff
Our staff is dedicated to your health and safety as our first priority. For that reason, we are taking several precautions to build on the sanitization and health considerations that were in place prior to shut down.
First, appointments are now being scheduled at staggered times to ensure limited contact between patients and adequate time to sterilize our facilities, including frequently-touched surfaces like door handles. This may mean that wait times for an appointment will be longer, as a result of limited capacity for seeing patients at this time. Our staff is also wearing full protective equipment, to ensure the health of our patients and ourselves. Staff members have their own health carefully screened and monitored as well.
Safety Procedures for Patients
All patients should wear masks to their appointments. We also ask that you please remain in your car when you arrive at our office. Please send us a text from your car, so we know that you have arrived. We will then let you know when you can safely come inside.
We also ask that patients please refrain from bringing guests or visitors to their appointment, including children. All guests should remain in the car for the duration of your appointment.
When you arrive, our staff will take your temperature and conduct a brief health screening before your appointment begins.
Covid-19 Safety Best Practices
Outside of your appointment at Gilpin Facial Plastics, there are several health and safety measures that we should all be following at this time.
Hand washing is a high priority, now and always. Be sure to thoroughly wash your hands frequently, especially before and after preparing food or eating, when caring for loved ones who are sick, after using the bathroom, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, be sure to wash your hands before and after going to a public place, such as the grocery store or gas station, and refrain from touching your eyes, nose, or mouth while in public.
As more businesses open and restrictions are lifted, it’s important to remain vigilant in protecting yourself and those around you. Wear a mask to cover your mouth and nose when possible, and maintain six feet of distance between yourself and anyone who does not live in your household. It’s also best to limit trips outside your home whenever possible, and especially important to avoid leaving home if you or someone you are in contact with have symptoms.
Finally, we encourage our patients to follow CDC recommendations to prevent infection and the spread of Covid-19.
