What is MyEllevate?
MyEllevate uses tiny incisions underneath the chin to allow Dr. Gilpin to place a unique suture system in the muscles of the neck. Over time, it’s common for the neck muscles to sag and become weak, reducing the youthful definition under the chin. The specialized suture system used in MyEllevate can lift and tighten the neck, enhancing its natural contours and reducing signs of aging. MyEllevate sometimes includes the use of liposuction to contour the jawline and remove stubborn fat, contributing to an even more rejuvenated neckline.
MyEllevate is different from the traditional neck lift because it does not remove excess skin. Who is a Candidate for MyEllevate?
The best candidates for MyEllevate are patients who are noticing a lack of definition in their neck and submental area. These patients are typically in their 30s or 40s and still have good skin laxity and quality. One of the determining factors in candidacy for MyEllevate is whether you have any stretched, lax skin underneath your chin. MyEllevate does not correct this, meaning you may be a better candidate for a neck lift if you have a “turkey neck” or sagging skin.
